Broncos' Draft Room Made Fun of Seahawks During First Round With Petty Move

The blockbuster trade that sent Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks to the Denver Broncos will have massive ramifications for both teams over the next few years. The deal has elevated Denver from a solid team to a Super Bowl contender, while Seattle is expected to struggle without a franchise quarterback.
It's safe to say the Broncos look like the early winners from this trade, and they weren't afraid to rub it into the Seahawks' faces on draft night.

In a behind-the-scenes video of the Broncos' 2022 war room, GM George Paton notices Seattle on the clock with the No. 9 overall pick, one of the assets Denver sent out in the Wilson deal. Paton then requests someone to put Wilson highlights on the big screen, and he has his wish fulfilled while the Seahawks are on the clock.
There's no better way to describe this than petty. Broncos fans will likely find it funny, as they're ecstatic about Wilson's arrival and unable to contain their excitement.
Seahawks faithful might have a much different reaction to this. Sure, Paton is just having a little fun at Seattle's expense, but it's almost excessive to choose this kind of celebration nearly two months after the fact.
All of this tension is setting up a must-watch event when the Broncos travel to face the Seahawks during the 2022 regular season.
