The St. Louis Cardinals will look to complete a three-game series sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. After winning Tuesday's matchup, 4-3, the Cardinals are moneyline favorites again at -120, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
As it's always smart to hear what those in the industry have to say before placing a bet, here are some expert predictions for Tuesday night's game.
Brewers vs Cardinals Predictions
Sports Chat Place
The Sports Chat Place staff is expecting the Cardinals to complete the sweep on Wednesday. They note that Brewers' starter, Jhoulys Chacin, already has a win over St. Louis this season, but Milwaukee is ice cold as a team lately. They're taking the Cardinals to win this one.
The team at Bookie Blasters notes the Cardinals are 11-4 in Adam Wainwright's last 15 starts against the Brewers. Milwaukee is also 0-5 in road games against a righty pitcher this season, so the Bookie Blasters crew is taking the Cardinals to win straight up.
Carl Taylor, of Cappers Picks, thinks this game is in the hands of Wainwright. He didn't look great in his last start, but the Brewers look worse as a team. Taylor thinks Wainwright will get things back on track, and for that reason, is taking St. Louis -120.
Tony Tellez notes how the Cardinals have the edge in both hitting and pitching as of late. He likes the Cardinals to finish the sweep and sees good value in the moneyline.
Overall, all four of the highlighted experts like St. Louis to complete the series sweep on Wednesday.
