Brewers Get Bad News on Travis Shaw Injury Update

The Milwaukee Brewers have been plagued by injuries to key contributors in 2021. Christian Yelich missed a chunk of time earlier this season, Lorzeno Cain is back on the injured list, and Kolten Wong could be out until the end of the month.
And now infielder Travis Shaw is sure to miss some time after suffering a concerning injury on Wednesday.

Travis Shaw Injury
Shaw dove after a ball in Wednesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds and suffered a dislocated shoulder as a result. There's no timetable yet since the injury just occurred, but it's hard to imagine the third/first baseman back in Milwaukee's lineup right away.
Shaw has been dependable for the Brewers this year, appearing in 56 of the team's 61 games so far. He's hit 6 home runs and 28 RBI to this point while slashing .191/.279/.337.
This is another blow to the roster as the Brewers battle it out in a contested NL Central. Milwaukee sits just 0.5 games back of the Chicago Cubs for first place. Shaw's injury could ensure the Brewers make a move before the trade deadline to bolster their depth.
