It's safe to say Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Brett Phillips won't be making a transition to a full-time pitching role anytime soon. Phillips took the mound on Tuesday night with the Rays down 8-0 in the eighth inning, and he surrendered 4 earned runs, including a two homers.

Mike Trout was one of the players to go yard in the eighth, and Phillips had a hilarious reaction after the game.

Phillips tagged Trout in a tweet after giving up the home run and said "you got lucky." No one would expect anything less from the quirky Rays outfielder, and it's great to see him having fun even if he did get lit up by the Angels.

Thankfully for Phillips, Tuesday's game will be most remembered for Reid Detmers throwing the 12th no-hitter in Angels history, though his chaotic eighth inning still might make the highlight reels.
