Brandon Clarke Stats

Brandon Clarke seemingly did it all for the Bulldogs this past season and was a big reason why they made it all the way to the Elite Eight. Clarke averaged 16.9 points per game (PPG), 1.2 steals per game (SPG) and 8.6 rebounds per game (RPG) last season with Gonzaga.

The Gonzaga product is a decent scorer and strong finisher, but he really excels on the defensive side of the ball. Clarke dominates the boards with a relentless motor rarely seen at the collegiate level, and he is an excellent shot blocker as well. Clarke led the NCAA in total blocks with 117 last season, averaging 3.2 blocks per game.

Like all prospects, Clarke isn't without his weaknesses. The 22-year-old forward really needs to improve his outside shot and expand his shooting range if he wants to succeed at the next level. This deficiency is, perhaps, most apparent from 3-point range, as Clarke's collegiate career ended with a .267 3-point shooting percentage.

Brandon Clarke NBA Draft Predictions

Minnesota Timberwolves (No. 11) or Boston Celtics (No. 14)

The Minnesota Timberwolves may need a replacement at power forward if free agent Taj Gibson decides to sign elsewhere this offseason, making Clarke a likely target at No. 11 overall. While slightly undersized at the four, Clarke offers more athleticism than Gibson and could make for an excellent frontcourt defensive complement to Karl-Anthony Towns.

While addressing their backcourt might be more of a priority, Clarke could be also be a good pick for the Boston Celtics if he's still on the board at No. 14 overall. Boston has a wealth of offensive frontcourt players, but it could use an energetic defender and aggressive rebounder like Clarke to work into the team's rotation.
