The Tennessee Titans were just one win away from making it to the Super Bowl after getting hot down the stretch of last season. They have re-tooled and made some solid moves this offseason in order to put themselves in position to make it to the big game yet again, but they may still need a solid draft in order to compete with some of the top AFC teams.

With that in mind, these are three bold predictions for the Titans heading into the NFL Draft.

1. Titans Don't Draft an Offensive Player Until Day 3

The Titans only have six draft picks, with two of them being in the seventh round. They do, however, have three picks in the first three rounds, and all may be devoted to the defensive side of the ball. Tennessee has serious needs at both defensive back and edge rusher, especially considering they will be tasked with stopping the terrific offenses of Baltimore and Kansas City, if they hope to make a championship run. Given their draft position toward the end of each round, the Titans may not draft an offensive player until the fifth round.

2. Titans Don't Select a Running Back

After placing the franchise tag on Derrick Henry and letting Dion Lewis walk, the Titans initially looked in place to draft a running back early on. However, they may not draft one at all. This could put them in a risky situation, however, especially if Henry decides to hold out, but there is enough talent available via free agency that they do not need to target a back in the draft.

3. Titans Trade Their Way Into Round 4

Ass of now, the Titans do not have a pick in the fourth round. They are also without a sixth-round pick. As Tennessee's roster currently stands, they are good, but not great. They are also structured to compete now rather than a couple years down the road. Pairing that with how talented this draft class projects to be, look for Tennessee to trade future picks and possibly some players in order to trade up into Round 4 to target an edge rusher or offensive lineman.
