With NFL free agency rapidly approaching, teams are cutting down their rosters to free up cap space. That has added some very interesting players to this year's loaded pool of available free agents.

Bleacher Report has projected one of these recent cuts to sign with the Baltimore Ravens — former Kansas City Chiefs tackle Mitchell Schwartz.

With the recent news that Orlando Brown Jr. has asked for a trade, the Ravens suddenly have a huge hole at right tackle. There aren't many better candidates to fill that void than Schwartz.

Had he not dealt with injuries in 2020, he would likely still be a Chief. The guy is one of the best right tackles in football when he's healthy. Though he's shockingly never made a Pro Bowl, Schwartz was a first-team All-Pro in 2018. He also graded out as the league's fifth-best tackle in both 2018 and 2019, according to ProFootballFocus.

He's not just a one-trick pony either. Schwartz is very effective in both the run and pass games, which has to be appealing to a unique Baltimore offense.

The main concern with him right now is the back injury that limited him to just six games played in 2020. But even that could end up being a plus.

If it causes Schwartz to sign at a discount, the Ravens could trade Brown, pick up some significant draft capital, and replace him with one of the best right tackles in the NFL.

That'd be a seriously savvy move from GM Eric DeCosta.
