Prior to the Portland Trail Blazers' big Game 2 win in their playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, Fox Sports' talk show host Colin Cowherd had some strong feelings about how he thought the game would play out.
Unfortunately for Cowherd, those premonitions didn't exactly come to fruition. During this Tuesday's airing of "The Herd with Colin Cowherd," Cowherd predicted a convincing win by the Thunder. He even went as far to say he was going to bet the most money he could "morally and financially withstand for an NBA game on the Thunder tonight."
After OKC took an early lead, Cowherd went to Twitter to begin his bragging. The only issue was the game wasn't over, and the team that Cowherd was so confident in, ended up on the losing side. The Blazers' Twitter didn't let him forget it either.
Listen, every take you have isn't going to be right, even the ones you feel strongly about, so I can't totally blame Cowherd here.
What I can do, however, is praise the Blazers and their Twitter account for being one of the best in the game and nailing this timely tweet as Portland heads to OKC in the best possible position with a 2-0 series lead.
