Bills Open as Huge Favorites Over Steelers in Early Odds for Week 1 NFL Matchup

While the NFL schedule release is officially set for Wednesday night, the full Week 1 schedule has already been released.

And FanDuel Sportsbook has wasted no time releasing early Week 1 odds for many of these games.

One of the week's biggest games is a Sunday-afternoon clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills.

Bills vs Steelers Week 1 Opening Odds

The FanDuel Sportsbook Week 1 NFL lines and spreads show the Bills as 6.5-point home favorites over the Steelers. The moneyline is Buffalo -275 and Pittsburgh +225.

Both teams won AFC division titles in 2020, but the Bills outlook is a little brighter in 2021 with the new 17-game regular season schedule.

FanDuel Sportsbook's season win total over/under lines have the Bills projected for 10.5 wins (with -170 odds on the over), while Pittsburgh is projected at 8.5. The Bills odds to win the Super Bowl are +1200 while the Steelers sit at +4400.

The Week 1 match-up will be a good test as the Bills offense looks to build on their top-5 production from last season against a Steelers defense that ranked top-3 in total yards allowed.

There's plenty of time for these odds to move before September gets here, but the early signs are that oddsmakers expect Buffalo to take this one handily.
