The Buffalo Bills' march to a Super Bowl title ended early, but this team will be right back in that conversation next year thanks to the depth of talent around the roster. If Buffalo makes smart decisions in NFL free agency, they could easily hoist the Lombardi Trophy in 2022-23.

Bills Free Agency Rumors gave a prediction for each team a free agent could be matched with this offseason, and the Bills are projected for the perfect signing: six-time Pro Bowl defensive end Calais Campbell.

Buffalo enters free agency with a pair of defensive ends set to hit the open market in Jerry Hughes and Mario Addison. Addison's 7.0 sacks led the team, which ranked 11th with 42 team sacks and second in quarterback hurries (93).

Free Agency Predictions

It's clear that Buffalo does a great job rushing the quarterback as a unit, as opposed to individual successes. Adding Calais Campbell only heightens the play of that unit. The 14-year veteran racked up 1.5 sacks and 12 QB hits last year, and is seen as an affordable option given his age 36. He's also still a stout run defender.

The Bills are about $4 million over the cap, so finding affordable options in free agency is a must.

Buffalo owns leading +700 odds to win Super Bowl 57 on FanDuel Sportsbook. It's easy to see how the addition of a proven veteran like Campbell increases those chances.
