Tyler Bass Player of the Month

Football is a team sport that requires excellence at every position group, including kicker. Bills kicker Tyler Bass has been named AFC Player of the Month after a terrific month on special teams.

The second-year kicker couldn't miss in October, even playing two of those games in the tough weather of Buffalo, NY. Bass went a perfect 10-for-10 on field goal attempts and 13-for-13 on extra point attempts in four games as he racked up 43 points of offense.

The impressive month has led to his place on the NFL's kicking leaderboard. Bass ranks second with 16 total field goals and has gone 16-for-17 throughout 2021.

His season-long 57-yard attempt came in Week 8 and ranks as the NFL's fourth-longest field goal this year.

Bass and the Bills will look to continue things rolling in Week 9 when they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars, a game in which Buffalo is favored by 14.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook.
