Alarm bells sounded when Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen walked into his postgame press conference in a walking boot.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported some bad news around Allen's injury update on Monday morning.

Josh Allen Injury Update

According to Rapoport, Allen suffered a "mild case" of turf toe in Week 14's crushing loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The injury was not obvious during game action as Allen played the entirety of the contest and managed 300+ passing yards and 109 rushing yards.

Allen will undergo further testing on Monday to determine the severity of his turf toe injury but the one-time Pro Bowler stated he "doesn't think it's a big deal."

It'll be important to monitor Allen's injury status throughout the week as the Bills face a desperation point in turning their 2021 NFL season around after dropping to 7-6 with Week 14's loss.
