The Houston Texans fans have spoken, and the future in H-Town is looking rocky under head coach Bill O'Brien after a very noisy offseason that came with it's fair share of criticism. Well, at least according to a recent approval rating poll on reddit.com.
Bill O'Brien Approval Rating 2020
Drawing from a total of 648 votes submitted on a poll posted to Reddit.com/r/Texans, an alarmingly high 422 votes were cast in support of disapproval for O'Brien, compared to only 226 cast for approval. That's higher than a 65 percent disapproval rating for O'Brien, and it's really not hard to see why after this offseason.
The Texans shockingly dealt DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals primarily for a second-round pick and RB David Johnson in return, which was the first red flag. After that, Houston traded for Brandin Cooks to fill a need at WR ahead of a 2020 NFL Draft in which the Texans already lacked a first-round pick.
O'Brien gets his first shot to redeem himself in a Week 1 matchup against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on the road on Sept. 10, 2020, but his Texans are already massive 10-point underdogs.
