The free agency for the National Football League just started and the New England Patriots made headlines on day one. Bill Belichick shelled out over $200 million in acquiring new players. The Patriots had a disappointing season after losing Tom Brady to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Notably, the Patriots re-signed veteran quarterback Cam Newton to a one year deal. They also picked up two tight ends, in Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith from the Tennessee Titans. The Patriots are clearly trying to right the ship and make a playoff push this season.
