Veteran wide receiver Jarvis Landry became a free agent when the Cleveland Browns released him on March 14 to create cap space. Despite all that the 29-year-old has accomplished in his NFL career, he remains a free agent as the calendar is set to turn to April.

While he's never been the league's top receiver, Landry has been solid throughout his career, posting 688 receptions, 7,598 yards and 37 touchdowns in 123 games. With a resumé like that, it's easy to see how he can improve most teams' offensive units.

Here's a look at the three best remaining Landry free-agent destinations in 2022.

Jarvis Landry Free Agency

1. Cleveland Browns

A lot of people might be thinking, "Why would Landry go back to the Browns if they just released him?" Well, reports surfaced this week that the two sides are mutually interested in a quick reunion. The acquisition of quarterback Deshaun Watson has made staying in Cleveland more attractive to Landry, with his agent adding that the city is his "home." Despite trading for Amari Cooper, the Browns do need more wide receiver depth and bringing back Landry on a more team-friendly contract would be a great way of ensuring that they'll remain competitive in the AFC North.

2. New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints offense was lackluster in 2021. While that could be attributed to instability at the quarterback position, the Saints lacked a true No. 1 WR with Michael Thomas sidelined for the entire year. Even with Thomas set to return in 2022, the team could use a No. 2 wideout like Landry. Aside from Thomas, he's more proven than the Saints' other wide receivers and could quickly become one of Jameis Winston's favorite weapons. Winston threw for over 5,100 yards and 33 TDs in 2019, so he's more than capable of helping Thomas and Landry achieve 1,000-yard campaigns this year.

3. Kansas City Chiefs

With the loss of Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins, the Kansas City Chiefs are in the market for another "top" wide receiver. While the rumors have them looking for a trade, the Chiefs could save their assets by taking a swing on Landry. Sure, he's not at the same skill level as Hill, but few players are. Plus the fact that Landry has five seasons of 976-plus receiving yards makes him more proven than Kansas City's non-Travis Kelce pass-catchers. Patrick Mahomes would also be the best quarterback that Landry has ever played with and gives him a great shot at winning his first-ever Super Bowl ring.
