3 Best Prop Bets for Trail Blazers vs Jazz NBA Game on FanDuel Sportsbook

1. Donovan Mitchell - Assists: Over 5.5 (-110)

The only thing working against Donovan Mitchell's favor is the massive 18-point spread and blowout potential. Even if the superstar plays under 30 minutes, he still has a great opportunity to tally at least six assists. Mitchell is averaging 7.2 assists per game in his last five and has hit the total on this prop in 21 games. Portland allows the second-most opponent assists by guards per contest at 17.4, so we're liking his chances.

2. Donovan Mitchell - To Score 30+ Points: +210

This one is a bit of a riskier play considering the massive spread and blowout potential. We'll take Mitchell to pour in at least 30 points with very enticing +210 odds. Mitchell already averages 25.7 points per game and has scored at least 30 points in 18 contests. Portland allows the second-most opponent field goals to guards and ranks just 28th in defensive rating. Mitchell scored exactly 30 points in a 22-point blowout the first time these two teams played, and we're aiming for a big payout if he does it again.

3. 1st Quarter Spread: Trail Blazers +6.5 (-118)

It's easy to imagine the Jazz walking away with a massive 20+ point victory on Wednesday, but that's not going to happen in the first quarter. Even after the CJ McCollum trade, the Blazers are still 6-4 against the spread (ATS) in the first quarter of their past 10 games. On the other hand, the Jazz are 26-37-1 ATS in first quarter action. Utah touts just a 1.5+ scoring margin in 1Q's this season, so expect Portland to hang on at least through the first 12 minutes.
