3 Best Prop Bets for Lions vs Packers Monday Night Football
By Larry Rupp

The NFL's Week 2 slate concludes with an exciting Monday Night Football matchup between a couple of divisional rivals in the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
Here are the three best prop bets for this Week 2 showdown.
Lions vs Raiders Prop Bets
1. AJ Dillon - Rushing Yards: Over 38.5 (-110)
This is a great matchup for the Packers' backfield as the Lions gave up the fifth-most rushing yards to opposing running backs during the 2020 season. The San Francisco 49ers continued that trend by rushing for 131 yards against Detroit in Week 1. Aaron Jones is going to see the bulk of the work tonight, but this game is expected to get out of reach quickly. That means Green Bay should rely on the rushing attack in the second half and backup AJ Dillon should see increased snaps. The second-year ball-carrier averages 5.2 yards per carry in his career and should have no trouble decimating the weak defensive interior of the Lions. Back his over in this one.
2. Jared Goff - Passing Touchdowns: Over 1.5 (+108)
It's tough to imagine the Lions keeping this game close, and they could be playing from behind for the entirety of the game. That was the case last week when Jared Goff almost mounted a major comeback in the fourth quarter and finished the game with 3 touchdown passes. The Packers struggled to stop the passing attack in Week 1 and allowed Jameis Winston to toss 5 touchdowns, including two in the fourth quarter. Goff attempted an insane 57 passes in the season opener and there is no reason to believe Detroit will stop launching the ball if they face the prospect of garbage time in this one. Green Bay has posted the worst pass defense DVOA rating in the NFL so far. Look for Goff to take advantage of that.
3. Robert Tonyan - Total Receptions: Over 2.5 (-136)
Despite an overall horrible offensive performance from the Packers in Week 1, tight end Robert Tonyan still saw 4 targets (2 receptions). This number is simply set way too low as Tonyan remains one of quarterback Aaron Rodgers' go-to targets in the passing game. In fact, he posted at least three receptions in 10 of his 16 games played in 2020. In two games played against the Lions, Tonyan racked up 61 yards and 2 touchdowns on a total of 7 receptions. The 27-year-old should be able to keep up his dominance against Detroit and get open over the middle of the field. This is a prop bet that could hit by halftime.
