3 Best Prop Bets for Lakers vs Heat NBA Game on FanDuel Sportsbook

Sunday's NBA schedule has 11 games, including an exciting clash between the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat. The Heat are a 2-point home favorite and the over/under is set at 215 points.
Here's three of the best prop bets for the Lakers-Heat game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Lakers-Heat Prop Bets Tonight
1. Jimmy Butler - Points: Under 21.5 (-120)
It's been a rough stretch for Jimmy Butler as of late. The Heat wing is averaging just 13.4 points per game over his last five outings and has only cashed the over on this points prop once during that span. More importantly, Butler is shooting just 35.7% from the floor since returning from a three-game absence. That is not going to get the job done against a Lakers defense that has allowed only 103.7 points per contest over its last three games (T-No. 6 in NBA). LA is not a defensive juggernaut by any means, but LeBron James has his team energized right now. Don't trust Butler to turn his scoring efforts around quite yet.
2. Gabe Vincent - Made Threes: Over 2.5 (-102)
The Heat find the most success when they are able to integrate essential role players into the mix. That is the exact kind of player Gabe Vincent has become this season. The 25-year-old has shown he is not afraid to shoot the long ball when out on the court. Vincent has attempted at least 6 three-pointers in each of his last three games, hitting at least 3 of them two different times. This is a great matchup for him to keep his momentum going, too. The Lakers allow the 11th-most opponent points from three-pointers (38.3). Vincent should be in line to see 30-plus minutes tonight and could cash this prop bet before the fourth quarter.
3. First Half Total Points: Over 110.5 (-112)
Aside from player props, targeting the first half over is a smart idea here. Both of these teams have shown a tendency to score early and often, while also sharpening their defense in the second half. In fact, the first half over has hit in 11 of the Lakers' 18 away games and it has also hit in 11 of the Heat's 20 home games. James and Butler spearhead their respective offenses and it is causing the ball to be put in the basket a lot. Both LA and Miami rank in the top half of the NBA when it comes to first half points scored per game. Simply put, back the numbers here.
