Best NFL Survivor Pool Picks for Week 12

Week 11 once again brought fans some pretty surprising results. The Atlanta Falcons notched their second straight win after starting the season 1-7 and the San Francisco 49ers, who were the last undefeated NFL team this season, barely defeated the NFC West's last-place team in the Arizona Cardinals.

If you've managed to avoid the upsets and made it to Week 12 of your survivor pool, then here are three of the best picks for this weekend's slate of games.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST

The Pittsburgh Steelers have turned their season around, thanks to some impressive performances by their defense. While Pittsburgh lost to the Cleveland Browns in Week 11, the Steelers have a great bounce-back spot this week against the Cincinnati Bengals. Pittsburgh is forcing a turnover at a league-best 20.8 percent of its opponent's drives, and Bengals QB Ryan Finley has turned the ball over four times in his first two starts for Cincinnati.

2. Oakland Raiders at New York Jets, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST

The Oakland Raiders have been one of the biggest surprises of the year, jumping out to a 6-4 start after finishing 4-12 in 2018. A huge part of that success has been the improved play of QB Derek Carr. He should have little trouble against a New York Jets' secondary that ranks No. 24 in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA rankings, meaning the Raiders, who are favored by just three points on the road are likely a good pick to pull off a win this weekend.

1. Cleveland Browns vs. Miami Dolphins, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST

The ugly end to the Browns' Week 11 victory over the Steelers has overshadowed it some, but Cleveland has quietly begun to turn its season around. The Browns have now won in back-to-back games, and they'll look to make it three straight against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The Browns have the largest spread to cover this week, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, pointing to an easy win the Bake and Co. Plus, Miami checks in as the second-worst defense in the NFL by DVOA, something that should make life easy for Cleveland's offense come Sunday.
