The Miami Dolphins are hoping to pull off a quick rebuild, after selecting six players within the top 100 picks of the 2020 NFL Draft. The young talent on this roster is vast, with no shortage of youth. If these players pan out, we could quickly see the Dolphins return to being a feared team.

With that in mind, these are the three best Dolphins players under 25. The big crop of rookies is excluded, since we have not seen what they can do at the next level quite yet.

3. Mike Gesicki, TE (24)

The third-year tight end took leaps last season. Mike Gesicki was finally used the way he should have been. Unfortunately, it took injuries to other players for it to happen. Gesicki is a big, athletic receiving option at tight end who creates plenty of mismatches by being capable of lining up all over the field. That is how Miami should use the 6-foot-6 Penn State product going forward, after he tallied 570 yards and 5 touchdowns last season.

2. Preston Williams, WR (23)

One of the injuries mentioned above was unfortunately to Preston Williams, who had his rookie season shortened to eight games. However, he surprised many in that half season, totaling 32 receptions for 428 yards and 3 touchdowns. That was incredibly promising for an undrafted rookie, and he is a candidate to take a big jump in year two, assuming he bounces back healthy.

1. Jerome Baker, LB (23)

At 23 years old, Jerome Baker already has 26 NFL starts to his name through two seasons. He turned in a terrific performance in 2019, leading the Dolphins with 126 combined tackles, 76 total tackles and 2 forced fumbles. Baker also added 3 tackles for a loss, 5 quarterback hits, 1.5 sacks and an interception. He has a bright future in this league and has already been one of the bright spots on this Miami defense.
