Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season opens with a bang as the Cincinnati Bengals host the undefeated Miami Dolphins. It's an exciting night not only because of the offensive talent involved but also because the Bengals will be debuting their new white helmets.

The Bengals added to the white helmet-mania excitement by releasing an epic hype video Tuesday morning. The video shows fans around Cincinnati preparing for the all-white uniforms and even includes a cameo from former "Good Morning Football" personality Kay Adams.

Bengals White Helmets

The video also includes its fair share of funny moments. The Bengals have it on good authority that "local tigers are very happy" about the white helmets, however, dogs around the city are understandably "sad" about the decision.

From 2012 until 2021, the NFL only allowed its 32 teams to use one helmet. That changed last year when the league approved a rule change that approved an alternate helmet for each squad, opening the door for Cincinnati to embrace the "White Bengal" look.

Another reason to get excited about the TNF clash is that it's also the Bengals' Ring of Honor game. Former offensive tackle Willie Anderson and wide receiver Isaac Curtis are the recipients of the honor, which gives the fans in attendance another reason to be even more raucous.

And, of course, there's also a showdown between two of the best young quarterbacks in the game, Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa. Both men have more than enough weapons at their disposal to do some damage, meaning this could be quite the firework-filled collision.

The Bengals did practice in their white helmets last week and wound up winning their Week 3 matchup. Only time will tell if the new look can lead to another victory on Thursday.

Dolphins vs Bengals Odds

Things look promising for the Bengals regarding their new look's debut. FanDuel Sportsbook currently lists Cincinnati as the 3.5-point home favorite just over 48 hours before this week's TNF tilt.
