The Cincinnati Bengals are back at practice in preparation for their Wild Card game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Cincinnati played without several key players in Week 18, but they're hoping the week of rest will help them be refreshed for a playoff run.
However, the Bengals began their week with a bit of concerning injury news on wide receiver Tee Higgins.
Tee Higgins Injury Update
Higgins was listed a limited participant in practice due to a new foot injury. ESPN's Ben Baby noted that Higgins looked okay during the open part of practice, which adds further mystery.
Hopefully this is just something minor that won't have any impact on the wideout's availability this weekend. The fact he was able to practice at all is an encouraging sign, and his absence in Week 18 was due to rest rather than an injury.
Higgins followed up an impressive rookie year with even better numbers in 2021, setting career highs in receptions (74) and yards (1,091) while tying his high in touchdowns (6).
The second-year pass-catcher will look to make a bigger impact in this go-around against the Raiders, though. Las Vegas held him to just 2 catches and 15 yards back in Week 11, which ended up being his worst outing of the season.
Higgins' status will be something to keep a close eye on as Saturday's contest approaches.
