From a postseason "double doink" on a game-winning kick to a rough start to their 2019 campaign, the Chicago Bears' time at the top was short.

Following their loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 15, and a Minnesota Vikings' win, the Bears have been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention.

Bears Odds to Make Playoffs

The Bears' odds to make the playoffs were slim heading into Week 15, but Football Outsiders still gave Chicago a 3.6 percent chance at making the postseason.

Prior to this past week's loss, the Bears had won four of their past five games, and it was looking as if the season had turned around for Chicago. However, it was too little too late, after they strung together four losses in a row earlier in the season.

Now the Bears are in a unique position, as Chicago gets to play spoiler against two talented teams. In Week 16, Chicago hosts a Kansas City Chiefs team that is still fighting for playoff position.

The Bears end the season with a road game against the Vikings, in what may be a high-stakes game for Minnesota.
