Bears Get Brutal Khalil Mack Injury Update

The 2021 NFL season has been one to forget for the Chicago Bears and their fanbase. Now, things have gotten worse after the latest injury update on Khalil Mack.
The Bears are expected to place Mack on the injured reserve due to a nagging foot injury, according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The surgery is expected to keep the former Defensive Player of the Year out of the lineup for the rest of the season.

Khalil Mack Injury Update
Mack has been out of the lineup since Week 8 because the Bears initially believed that some rest would be the best way to heal his foot. Now, that's obviously not the case.
Before his injury, Mack was having an impressive campaign, recording 19 total tackles, 6.0 sacks (3.0 less than last year in nine fewer games) and a fumble recovery. There's no doubt that Chicago's defense isn't the same without him.
The Mack-less Bears have gone 0-2 without their star rusher this season, giving up a total of 62 points and 747 total yards in that stretch. Considering that he's been named to the Pro Bowl in each of the last six seasons, it'll be tough for the Bears to replace him.
Now, Chicago is coming off its bye week and has to go one-on-one with the 6-3 Baltimore Ravens who'll be looking for revenge following a 22-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 10.
The Bears are currently listed as 6-point home underdogs against the Ravens, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
