The Chicago Bears enter the 2022 NFL season with a mindset focused on improving. It'll be the first season under general manager Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus. Fields appeared on the Bears All Access Show and made a simple, yet impactful statement. He wants to win a Super Bowl and he wants to beat the Green Bay Packers. The 23-year-old is certainly buying into a rivalry that dates back over a century and has been going the opponents' way as of late.

Green Bay is 6-0 straight up against Chicago over the last three seasons and held Fields to an underwhelming 56.7% completion percentage across two meetings in 2021. Finding a way to beat quarterback Aaron Rodgers would show the Bears fan base that Fields isn't messing around.

This shouldn't come as a shock considering how much of a leadership role Fields has taken on this offseason. Offensive coordinator Luke Getsy explained that the second-year pro attacks every single day and leads by example. That's an important characteristic to have when surrounded by new faces.

The Bears and Packers meet head-to-head in Weeks 2 & 13 this fall. Odds have already been released on FanDuel Sportsbook for the early Sunday Night Football matchup. Green Bay is a 8.5-point home favorite as Chicago is a +350 underdog on the moneyline. The total is set at 45 points.
