The 2018 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award was one of the most contested in recent memory. New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley edged out Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield for the award – and apparently won a bet as well.

The two young superstars evidently had a bet in which the loser would buy a chain for whoever took home the hardware. The lettering on the chain, which says "QUADS," is fitting for Barkley as he's known for having some of the largest quads in the NFL. While it's unclear exactly how much the chain costs, it just looks expensive, so good job to Mayfield for not cheaping out after losing the wager.

Now that the debt has been settled, the two young phenoms can go back to focusing on the upcoming season. The only remaining question is, will there be a double-or-nothing bet for who wins the NFL MVP Award first?
