After another hype-filled offseason, Baker Mayfield was (fairly) criticized for his play to open the 2020 campaign. He looked a whole lot like he did in 2019, throwing a whopping 7 interceptions through his first seven starts.

Since then, however, the former Heisman Trophy winner has settled into a nice groove. He hasn't thrown an interception since late October, now going four consecutive games without an INT. In fact, he's thrown 123 straight passes without an INT, which is the second-best active streak in the NFL.

The only man with a better active streak is Deshaun Watson, who hasn't been picked off since Week 5.

This is an impressive run for Mayfield. He tossed 21 INTs as a second-year player in 2019 and recorded 14 across 13 starts as a rookie in 2018. At the very least, showing that he's capable of taking care of the football is a huge step in the right direction.

Of course, we have to mention that he's not exactly throwing the ball all that often. He's averaging just 24.0 passing attempts per game across his last four outings and has only thrown 2 TDs for 179.0 yards per game in that time.

Still, Mayfield is accomplishing what Kevin Stefanski is asking him to do – he's not exactly carrying this offense on his back, but he's not putting the Browns in bad situations, either.

Considering the QB play Cleveland fans have endured over the years, the Browns' faithful have to love what they're seeing from the former No. 1 overall pick.

Mayfield currently has the Browns sitting at 8-3, and FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL Playoffs odds have Cleveland as a -410 favorite to make the 2020 NFL Playoffs.
