The Houston Astros pulled off a miraculous ALDS Game 1 victory on the back of superstar Yordan Alvarez' dramatic walk-off home run. But the attention turned immediately to a pivotal Game 2.

Houston will look to take care of business at home in Game 2, and head back to Seattle with a crucial 2-0 series lead. That's exactly why manager Dusty Baker revealed a slight tweak to Thursday's lineup.

Astros Game 2 Lineup

Aledmys Diaz replaces Trey Mancini as the DH and the seventh spot in Houston's starting nine. Baker also opted to slide Jake Meyers into center field over Mauricio Dubón. Meyers will bat eighth in this order.

These decisions can be seen as a way to inject life into an Astros' lineup that got off to a slow start in Game 1. After a lengthy break before the ALDS, Houston mustered just three runs prior to the 8th innings and fell down as much as 4-0 in this contest.

Maninci was a quiet 0-for-4 on Tuesday compared to Diaz' lifetime success against Mariners pitching. While he's never faced starter Luis Castillo, Diaz is a career 300 /.344/.533 in 64 plate appearances against active Mariners.

It'll be interesting to see if Baker's changes can help lift the Astros to some early runs, and potentially an early lead in Game 2. As it stands, FanDuel Sportsbook's MLB odds show Houston as -156 moneyline favorites.
