The offseason is now in full swing and that means the 2021 NFL draft is quickly approaching. It is time for the prospects to make a lasting impact on NFL scouts during their Pro Days. Those performances play a major role in determining what team they will be joining at the next level.

Auburn wide receiver Anthony Schwartz knows all about that and shined in one particular part of his recent Pro Day. He locked in an unofficial 40-yard dash time of 4.26 seconds. That time would've ranked No. 1 at the 2019 NFL combine ahead of players like Henry Ruggs III and Quez Watkins.

Schwartz is a perfect example of a player that can separate from opposing defenders using his speed. That is something that many NFL teams are in search for every year as his deep-threat capabilities make him a weapon out on the field for any offense.

Schwartz averaged 12.2 yards per reception during his three college seasons and hauled in 54 receptions for 636 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2020. His production continued to increase every year and he is now projected to be a day three draft pick.

Teams across the NFL have shown that speed receivers can excel at the next level. Notable speedster Tyreek Hill is one of the best receivers in the game with the Kansas City Chiefs. We'll have to wait and see if Schwartz will be the next one to cash in on his elite speed.
