Trade buzz surrounding star cornerback Jalen Ramsey is heating up ahead of free agency. It appears the Los Angeles Rams are seriously considering shipping the veteran off in order to clear cap space, which prompted current Detroit Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown to make a recruiting pitch recently.

Now one of St. Brown's teammates has joined in on the chase.

Cornerback Jerry Jacobs tweeted directly to Ramsey on Sunday. He told the All-Pro they can "do some great things" together in Detroit, making it abundantly clear he wants to join forces.

It's interesting to see yet another Lions player publicly advocate for a Ramsey trade. The idea has clearly caught on in the locker room as several members have hopped on the recruiting trail.

Ramsey discussed the possibility of landing in Detroit earlier this week with an intriguing tweet that didn't rule anything out.

The Rams will surely find no shortage of suitors for the All-Pro CB. For a Lions team that's on the cusp of becoming a bonafide contender, landing this kind of difference-maker in the secondary could be just what they need to make the playoffs in 2023.
