Anonymous Coach Thinks One Player Will Foil 49ers' Super Bowl Hopes

The entire NFL world will be watching four teams battle it out for a Super Bowl 57 date during conference championship weekend. The anticipation is building and offering pundits a chance to share their thoughts and predictions on the matchups.
In fact, league insider Jeff Howe surveyed six anonymous NFL coaches and executives to get their predictions for the AFC and NFC Championship games on Sunday.

According to this coach, the brilliant run of rookie quarterback Brock Purdy will end when they square off against the Philadelphia Eagles. “Eventually, Brock Purdy will struggle. If the Eagles can stop the run, they have a great chance to win a close game at home.”
It's a tough assessment. Another coach expanded, but gave more credit to the Eagles' defensive schemes as opposed to Purdy's performance. “Philly’s defense will make life harder on Purdy than previous opponents.”
Even as a rookie, it's hard to ignore Purdy's brilliance. Not only is Purdy a perfect 7-0 in his starts (including the postseason), but he's added a jolt to the 49ers offense. San Francisco averages 32.6 points per game in Purdy's starts, and he hasn't coughed up a turnover in three straight starts.
But, the Eagles finished as the NFC's No. 1 seed for a reason.
Either way, this game will be close. FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL Odds show Philadelphia as jus a slim 2.5-point favorite ahead of Sunday.
