Angels Shore Up Infield With Latest Free Agent Signing

The Los Angeles Angels have quietly been on a mission to add valuable bats to their lineup this offseason. On the heels of bringing in both Hunter Renfroe and Gio Urshela, the Angels made another move on Tuesday night.
MLB insider Jeff Passan reported the news that the Angels came to an agreement with utility infielder Brandon Drury.
Utilityman Brandon Drury and the Los Angeles Angels are in agreement on a two-year, $17 million contract, sources familiar with the deal tell ESPN. Drury, 30, won the Silver Slugger at the utility position last year and is the third bat the Angels have acquired this winter.

Drury inked a two-year deal worth $17 million. He won the Silver Slugger award for utility players last season by slashing .263/.320/.492 with 28 home runs and 87 RBIs. Drury played 3B, 2B, 1B and DH during this split season between the Cincinnati Reds and San Diego Padres.
