The Kansas City Chiefs' wide receiver depth chart underwent some major shuffling this offseason. Tyreek Hill and Byron Pringle departed, but the team made room for the additions of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and rookie Skyy Moore.

A second-round pick, Moore is expected to make some noise in the Chiefs' passing-attack, which made his departure from Tuesday's training camp practice a bit concerning.

Fortunately, head coach Andy Reid provided a relieving update on the young wideout ahead of Wednesday's practice.

Skyy Moore Injury Update

Chiefs News

Reid noted that Moore was back at practice on Wednesday. The former Western Michigan standout limped off the practice field after a 1-on-1 drill with an apparent hip injury. Moore had even commented on an instagram video of his apparent injury, saying simply "I'm okay !"

There's good reason for Chiefs' kingdom to be excited about the young receiver. He enjoyed a breakout season in 2021, coming down with 95 receptions for 1,292 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns in just 12 games.

Moore already made a handful of nice plays during early training camp practices, including this beautiful diving grab last Friday.

The Chiefs enter the season with high expectations across the board. Currently, Kansas City holds +950 odds (3rd) to win Super Bowl 57 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
