The Kansas City Chiefs are starting to heat up with three straight wins and the offense is seemingly close to normal after a 41-point showing against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

One wide receiver has been seemingly absent from the Chiefs attack - the newest member of the depth chart in Josh Gordon.

Head coach Andy Reid opened up about Gordon's role, or lack thereof, in the offense.

Reid was adamant that the mid-season acquisition of Gordon will pay dividends, saying "his time is going to come as far as the production in the pass game." Reid also praised Gordon for his ability to "[attract] attention, which is opening up other people, which is a positive thing. His blocking has been tremendous in the run game. He plays extremely hard."

To be fair, Gordon is still getting up to speed considering he joined Kansas City in Week 5 and hadn't seen NFL action since 2019.

Gordon owns 1 reception on the year, an 11-yard catch from his first game in Week 5. The former Pro Bowler has only seen three other targets this season and no receptions, but played in a season-high 43% of the snaps on Sunday.

Reid and the Chiefs enter a highly-anticipated matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11, a contest in which KC is favored by 2.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook.
