3 Most Likely Andre Drummond Trade Destinations

Many around the NBA have been patiently watching the status of Cleveland Cavaliers big man Andre Drummond, who was a possible buyout candidate. However, Monday brought news that Drummond will be held out of the Cavs' remaining games leading up to the trade deadline as the team seeks out a deal for the center.
Drummond could solidify any number of teams in need of frontcourt help. With that in mind, here are three likely trade destinations for Andre Drummond.
Andre Drummond Trade Rumors
3. Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks desperately need to get Luka Doncic help if they hope to make the playoffs this season. In an ultra-competitive Western Conference, a sub-.500 record isn't going to get it done most seasons. Drummond would bring a dominant interior presence to pair alongside Kristaps Porzingis, who isn't known to bang down low. Drummond's 13.5 rebounds per game show he isn't afraid of contact, and he'd make sure the Mavs -- who are giving up the fifth-most opponent RPG (55.5) -- don't get dominated on the boards.
2. Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors are already being linked to Andre Drummond, and it makes sense. The team cut Alex Len in January and free-agent signing Aron Baynes hasn't wowed this season, so Toronto could desperately use a bruising body to pair with Pascal Siakam in the frontcourt. Currently sitting in the eighth seed in the East with a 12-15 record, the Raptors could use a big move to give the team the wakeup call it needs. Adding Drummond, who's putting up All-Star numbers, would certainly fit the bill.
1. LA Clippers
Around the trade deadline, contenders like the LA Clippers always find a way to make an addition for the stretch run. One area the Clippers could improve in is rebounding, as they're grabbing the third-fewest boards per game (50.4). Drummond's ability to gobble up rebounds would be an asset for this team and give them the dominant big down low that they need to compete in a conference with the likes of Anthony Davis and Nikola Jokic.
