Alvin Kamara Has Hilarious Response to Rumors of Him 'Losing a Step'

Much like the rest of his teammates, Alvin Kamara has been subject to an intense level of criticism throughout the 2022 season. It's understandable considering the New Orleans Saints are just 4-9 on the year and in danger of missing the playoffs for a second straight season.
Kamara's frustrated with his criticism, though. He recently took a humorous approach by responding to rumors that "he's lost a step" in 2022.
Kamara frustrated with recent dip, but also kept sense of humor:

“I’ve been trying to run super fast in practice, so they can see I can run… My brother sent me a comment on Twitter, ‘Alvin Kamara lost a step’… So I’ve been running fast trying to make sure I didn’t lose a step”

Kamara told reporters that he's been "trying to run super fast in practice, so they can see I can run." He claims his own brother sent him a Twitter comment that read "Alvin Kamara lost a step."
It's not a huge stretch to think that Kamara, a player who has battled injuries throughout his career, might be slowing down a tick at age 27. He's on pace for career-low marks in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns, putting him in danger of missing out on a Pro Bowl selection for the first time in his six-year career.
Perhaps Kamara's lack of impact has more to do with the Saints' offense as opposed to his physical skills? Having a new head coach (Dennis Allen) and a mediocre quarterback (Andy Dalton) can't be helping.
