ESPN has released its newest college football power rankings using their Football Power Index system (FPI).

Alabama Crimson Tide fans won't be surprised about who they have in first place.

Bama holds a clear edge over the field as the top team in the nation, and they're also way ahead of anyone else in the SEC.

Losing offensive stars Mac Jones, Najee Harris, Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle will hurt, for sure. But Nick Saban has faced the issue of having to replace heaps of top talent just about every year, and it's rarely an issue in Tuscaloosa.

Quarterback Bryce Young is already among the Heisman favorites for next season, and junior wide receiver John Metchie (55 receptions, 916 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2020) looks ready to break out as a legitimate star on the outside.
