AL MVP Odds Continue to Favor Ohtani Over Judge, Trout on FanDuel Sportsbook

As the 2022 MLB season continues to roll on, baseball fans are paying close attention to the American League MVP race.

Los Angeles Angels dual-threat Shohei Ohtani has been FanDuel Sportsbook's AL MVP favorite for a while now and that continues with the latest update. Although the 27-year-old's odds have moved from +220 to +250 over the last week or so, he still remains the odds-on favorite.

The 2021 AL MVP currently has eight home runs and 27 RBIs in 158 at-bats, along with a 3-2 record, 2.82 ERA and 1.017 WHIP in seven starts. Add in the fact that the Angels are only 1.5 games back of the Houston Astros for the AL West lead and it's easy to see why Ohtani is the MVP favorite.

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge finds himself in second, moving up from +700 to +450. He currently leads the Majors with 14 homers while also leading the American League with 32 runs scored.

Ohtani's teammate Mike Trout rounds out the top three as he's fallen from +440 to +500. The three-time MVP has looked dominant with 11 HRs and 23 RBIs in 122 ABs while slashing .320/.432/.689.

Other notable changes include the Toronto Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr. falling from +480 to +900 and Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton moving up from +1800 to +1500.
