The 3M Open was won by the betting favorite Tony Finau last week, and now four other top-20 golfers in the world rankings join Finau at Detroit Golf Club for the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic.

With a stronger field this week, there are more big names and other top-level golfers looking to go low on the 7,370 yard par 72 course, which hosts the event for the fourth consecutive year. Winning scores the past two years have been -18 and -23 under par, and Detroit GC has wider fairways with an emphasis on short-irons and wedge play on approach and putting.

A number of players like Webb Simpson (125th) are more focused and looking to play well as they site near the cut line for the top 125 players in the FedEx Cup Standings who advance to the FedEx Cup Playoffs in two weeks.

So, naturally, FanDuel Sportsbook has all the odds and props available for the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic.

Adam Scott Rocket Mortgage Classic Odds

Adam Scott has +3700 odds to win the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic. There are just eight golfers with lower odds to win in the 156-player field.

Scott is +380 to win Group B vs Max Homa (+175), Keegan Bradely (+220) and Cam Davis (+290).

Adam Scott Rocket Mortgage Classic Prediction & Pick

Adam Scott sits at No. 77 in the current FedEx Cup Standings with two events to go before the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The 14-time PGA Tour winner still hits it long at age 42 and ranks top-20 in driving distance (312 yards). He's finished top-15 in his two recent events at the U.S. Open and British Open.

Scott's improved play in those two events was encouraging. So was his T-2 in last year's Wyndham event at Sedgefield CC - another Donald Ross design. So Scott's recent putting strength along with better short game and tee-to-green play make him an intriguing option this week.

While a win would be a pleasant surprise, a top-30 finish (+110) seems like a playable option for the major champion and veteran Aussie.
