ACC Opens as Conference Favorite to Win 2019-20 College Basketball National Championship

The 2019-20 college basketball season officially kicks off on Tuesday. With months of regular-season games, followed by conference tournaments and then, finally, March Madness, it's never too early to take a look at which teams are most likely to cut down the nets.
While Michigan State, out of the Big Ten, opened as the favorite, at +700, the ACC is the conference with the best odds to win the NCAA Tournament. With four of the top-10 teams in odds to win the 2020 National Championship (Duke, UNC, Virginia and Louisville), it's no wonder the ACC has +290 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Big Ten is next with +350 odds, followed by the SEC at +410. With Kentucky (+800) and Florida (+1700) sporting the best odds in the SEC, that gives that conference at least two viable options to win it all.
The Big 12 (+500) and AAC (+1000) are still within 10-to-1 odds and the conferences that are longer shots include the Big East (+1200), Pac-12 (+1200) and WCC (+1400).

With college basketball season on the horizon, it should make for plenty of movement in the odds throughout the year and all the madness we can handle come March.
