The Green Bay Packers are coming off of a dominant 40-14 win in the snow over the Tennessee Titans in Week 16, thanks in large part to the steller play of quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The 37-year-old has been in the NFL MVP race all season, but his recent performance has shaken up the odds to win the prestigious award.

Aaron Rodgers MVP Odds

Rodgers is now the odds-on favorite to win the MVP, coming in at -155 entering the final week of the season, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL MVP odds. The Green Bay QB has lit up the league this year, throwing for 4,059 yards (fifth in the NFL) and 44 TDs (first in the NFL) while accounting for just 5 interceptions (tied for third-fewest in the league).

Despite the snow in his team's Week 16 matchup, Rodgers threw for 231 yards and 4 TDs, putting on a masterful showing in his 16th NFL season. Rodgers has two other MVP wins to his name, having taken home the award in 2011 and 2014.

Patrick Mahomes MVP Odds

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was the favorite to win the award earlier this month, but now at +145 to win the award, he's on the outside looking in.

Mahomes has the stats and team success to make this a contested race, as he leads the league in passing yards (4,740) all while throwing 38 TDs and just 6 INTs this year. His team also has the best record in the league, which is another resume-booster.

It appears as though one more classic performance from Rodgers in Week 17 could lead to the third MVP win of his already historic career, but Mahomes is still too close to call the race yet.
