After months of discussion surrounding his playing future, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was in a pretty good mood at practice on Thursday.

According to The Athletic's Matt Schneidman, Rodgers was the lead block on an outside run by A.J. Dillon. After the play, the 37-year-old gunslinger was said to have thrown a stiff arm at Josh Jackson before getting in the cornerback's face to flex.

Considering how Rodgers was described as being unhappy and disgruntled from April until training camp, it seems like he's done a complete 180.

Rodgers' playful display on Thursday aligns with some comments that he made the day before. The veteran QB told reporters on Wednesday that he's "at peace" in his life and that he "didn't wanna cheat my teammates, the organization, myself, the fans, by not being able to be all in" when it comes to competing for Super Bowl 56.

As long as Rodgers remains happy, the Packers should have nothing to complain about. After all, he''ll enter the season after winning his third NFL Most Valuable Player award and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. While he recorded over 4,000 passing yards for the fourth time in five years, Rodgers led all 2020 quarterbacks in competition percentage (70.7%), passing touchdowns (48) and quarterback rating (121.5). If he can put up a similar performance in 2021, Green Bay should be a contender all season long.

The Packers have +1200 odds to win this year's Super Bowl, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, which puts them in a tie for third with the Buffalo Bills. Meanwhile, Rodgers has the second-best odds to win his fourth MVP award at +1000.
