Aaron Jones has been a touchdown scoring machine this season, as his 11 spikes lead all NFL skill players heading into Sunday's NFL slate. The good times should continue to roll for Jones, who takes on the Los Angeles Chargers on the road in Week 9.

The Chargers have given up the 10th most fantasy points to running backs on the year, most recently allowing rookie David Montgomery to have his breakout game in Week 8 with 135 rushing yards and a score. Los Angeles has allowed a running back to score in five of eight games in 2019, which bodes well for Jones' chances of notching his 10th rushing score.

While Jones has not been as efficient this year as a runner (4.1 yards per carry) as he was in his first two seasons (5.5 yards per carry), he has expanded his role in the passing game and is already up to 34 catches for 355 yards and three receiving TDs. Last week alone, Jones caught seven balls for 159 yards and two scores.

Jones is a high-upside play in Week 9, even though he doesn't have total ownership of the Packers' backfield. Jamaal Williams is having a solid year as the 1B to Jones' 1A role, as he currently has 345 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns on the season.

Regardless of Williams' presence, Jones is still the lead back in this offense and should have a productive day against a Chargers' defense permitting 122.8 rushing yards per game. Jones is the 7th-ranked RB in our Week 9 PPR rankings.
