Aaron Jones Fantasy Outlook Remains Clouded by Jamal Williams Workload and Performance in Week 6

After exploding for four touchdowns just two weeks ago, Aaron Jones now enters a Week 7 matchup with the Oakland Raiders in what could be a running-back-by-committee approach with Jamal Williams.

With Williams out of the lineup against the Cowboys in Week 5, Jones went off to the tune of 107 rushing yards, four TDs, and 75 receiving yards. With Williams back in the lineup for Week 6 against the Detroit Lions, Jones had 60 total yards on 15 touches.
Meanwhile, Williams exploded for 104 rushing yards, 32 receiving yards, and a receiving touchdown last week, getting the majority of touches after and early Aaron Jones fumble.

For Jones, the correlation is clear. When he has gotten more than 15 touches in a game this season, he has scored more than 17.0 PPR points every time (including games of 24 and 48). When he get 15 touches or less, however, he is averaging under 10 PPR points per game.
Heading into this week's matchup, the Green Bay Packers are 5.5 point home-favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Whoever does get the touches in this game is in line to have a favorable game script. Who that is, though, is anyone's guess.
