Aaron Jones Weighs in on Aaron Rodgers' Future in Green Bay

The Green Bay Packers' season ended abruptly on a snow-covered Lambeau Field, thanks to a crushing upset loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. Unfortunately, this loss immediately prompted another storm of speculation and rumors about Aaron Rodgers' questionable future with the franchise.

Pro Bowl running back Aaron Jones caught up with the NFL Network on Tuesday and weighed in his thoughts on Rodgers' future in Green Bay. 

Aaron Rodgers Rumors

It's safe to say that Jones holds a reasonably positive and upbeat attitude about standing alongside Rodgers at the start of next season.

"I've heard what everybody else has heard, what they're reading. But I think he'll be there, in my heart. Green Bay, I can't imagine him anywhere else, that's where he's been his whole career. I just can't picture him anywhere else. I think we had a lot of fun this year, I hope to have him back and I believe in my heart he'll be back."

The rumors and speculation about Rodgers' future in Green Bay have swirled for a long time now, dating back to last offseason. Rodgers certainly didn't hep the narrative with some of his off-field antics throughout the season, but Jones and the rest of Packers nation will continue to hold off hope that their three-time MVP returns.
