Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon has seemingly found himself in trade rumors yet again prior to this year's trade deadline. Two separate reports on Monday delved into Orlando's efforts to trade Gordon, possibly foreshadowing a divorce between the two sides.

With that in mind, here are three likely trade destinations for Gordon ahead of the trade deadline.

Aaron Gordon Trade Rumors

3. San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs find themselves in an awkward spot, with a roster that's good enough to make the playoffs as a 7- or 8-seed but miles away from contention. They have some intriguing players, but they could use an injection of scoring and excitement. Gordon, known as a high-flying forward, is certainly that. Toiling away with the Magic for his entire career, Gordon has never been in a position to fully realize his potential. But under head coach Gregg Popovich, he could turn into a truly dynamic player worthy of helping lead the Spurs back to contention. With DeMar DeRozan on an expiring contract and not figuring into San Antonio's long-term future, using him to land the 25-year-old Gordon would be a smart move.

2. Portland Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers have long been linked to Gordon, and this should be the year they finally go all-in. Damian Lillard's MVP-worthy effort can only take the Blazers so far with a depleted roster, so getting another weapon to pair with him is crucial if Portland hopes to contend. Gordon is averaging 13.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 20 games for Orlando this year despite playing his fewest minutes per game (28.3) since the 2015-16 season. His over-the-top game gets most of the attention, but he's turned into a solid 3-point shooter as well, hitting a career-high 36.5% from deep this year. He'd not only be a lob threat for Lillard, but his ability to stretch the floor is key for the Blazers to have around their All-Star point guard, making him a great fit.

1. Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets are among the teams reportedly in on Gordon, and they could offer an intriguing package for the forward, using Victor Oladipo and his massive expiring contract to land a piece that fits their timeline better. With Gordon under contract until next season, that'd give the Rockets an extended look at how the forward figures into their future. As one of the team's top scoring options, he could blossom and lock himself into being one of Houston's long-term roster pieces. Given that Oladipo is set to hit free agency, the Rockets could get an exciting player in return for him while providing the Magic a No. 1 option they desperately need.
