Big-name wide receivers continue to cash in this offseason, with Stefon Diggs being the most recent on a four-year, $104 million extension. The big money handed out to top WRs this offseason has set the bar for players at the end of their rookie deals, like Tennessee Titans wideout A.J. Brown.

AJ Brown Contract Extension
Following the Diggs deal, Spotrac is projecting a four-year, $91 million contract for Brown on his deal deal. That figure is based on his age, stats and a calculated annual value of $22.8 million.
That would immediately vault Brown into the top 10 the highest-paid receivers, and he could challenge for a top-five spot depending on what fellow 2019 draft class members D.K. Metcalf and Deebo Samuel draw on their next contracts.
Brown has certainly proved he's one of the top young wideouts in the league over his first three seasons. He racked up two 1,000-yard seasons to begin his career, followed by an 869-yard performance in 2021.
The Ole Miss product has all the makings of a dominant WR1 for years to come. There's no wonder opposing teams are hoping to trade for the fourth-year pro, but all signs from the Titans point to working out a long-term deal, despite the hefty price it'll take to retain him.
