With the series tied 2-2, the No. 2-seed Toronto Raptors host to the No. 3-seed Philadelphia 76ers in a pivotal Game 5 in the second round of the 2019 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs on Tuesday night.

The Raptors are 6.5-point favorites at home in Toronto, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. As it's always a good idea to consider what some industry experts have to say before placing a bet, here are some expert predictions for Tuesday's Game 5.

76ers vs Raptors Predictions

Tony's Picks

Tony Tellez, of Tony's Picks, predicts the 76ers will cover the spread against the Raptors, noting that Philly is 13-5 against the spread (ATS) on the road after a loss this season.

Winners and Whiners

Bosun Akinpelu, of Winners and Whiners, predicts the Raptors will win straight up and cover the spread. Akinpelu also points out the 76ers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 conference semifinal games.

Doc's Sports

Josh Schonwald, of Doc's Sports, predicts Toronto will both win straight up and cover the spread against Philadelphia. Schonwald provides us with plenty of statistics, but emphasizes Toronto's 6.2-point average margin of victory over the course of this season.

Overall, two of the three expert predictions highlighted above expect the Raptors to win straight up and cover the spread, while Tony's Picks is backing the 76ers to cover as road underdogs.
