James Harden has only suited up for nine of the Philadelphia 76ers' 21 games so far this season, as he has not played since Nov. 2 due to a foot injury.

James Harden Injury Update

While the Sixers limped out of the gate, they have actually seen their record improve since Harden got injured. After nearly a month without him, Philly has adjusted to life without him but should be even better when he returns.

The good news is that Harden should be back soon. Shams Charania is reporting that Harden is targeting a return at some point during the team's upcoming three-game road trip that starts on Wednesday, likely during next Monday's tilt against his old team, the Houston Rockets.

Harden spent nine seasons with Houston and won an MVP there, so he'll likely be welcome back to the court by both 76ers fans and Rockets fans alike.

Before his injury, Harden was off to a good start with 22.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game -- his usual well-round production. The 33-year-old point guard will try to pick up where he left off when he comes back and help Philadelphia continue to climb in the Eastern Conference Standings.

For now, the Sixers have the fifth-best odds to win the Eastern Conference on FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NBA odds.
