D.K. Metcalf and A.J. Brown had respectable collegiate careers at Ole Miss and now make the leap to the NFL. Both receivers are exceptionally talented and bring a lot of different talents to the table with their respective skillsets. However, you can't help but wonder, which of the two receivers would be the better selection come draft day?

Brown was widely expected to be the draft's top receiving prospect heading into the 2018 college football season, but thanks to an unreal combine performance that left scouts absolutely awestruck, Metcalf has rocketed up draft boards.

The numbers are eye-popping, to say the least, and Metcalf proved he was more than just exceptional measurables last weekend with a strong performance in position drills. The one knock on Metcalf, though, was his lateral movement left much to be desired, an area where Brown absolutely shines.

Brown isn't the physical freak his teammate is, but he's a quick receiver with strong route running ability, a much-needed trait for the up-tempo passing attacks utilized in the NFL today.

Metcalf and Brown have different, yet equally valuable skill sets that would greatly benefit any team that drafts them. However, if a team is looking for a prototypical No. 1 wideout, Metcalf is the better prospect of the two based on physical attributes alone.
